We’ve been steadily developing Nosotros so we can serve you better. We’re always transparent with you because you’re the reason we’re here. On April 1, we have to bump prices a bit to give your gym a better future. Here are 5 things we’ve done and plan to do to improve:
1. We’ve been adding and adding value. In the past three years, we added a weight room, textured paint, Downtown gym, Kilterboard, 24/7 access, more staff, food, hours, holds, clinics, events, customer service, partnerships, and donations. We started the first-ever hangboard league to create community during a pandemic. We started the first-ever combined membership to expand boundaries. We started the first-ever multisite rock gym in Cleveland to help more people. We’ve worked hard and it was all for you. Treat our past as an indicator of the future. We’ll never stop improving. There’s more to come!
2. You’re getting a third location. We have plans to build a climbing wall at a brewery in Ohio City. This will be the first-ever outdoor gym in the nation like this. We’re expecting to open Nosotros Ohio City around April or May. It’ll be a fun-sized 1300 sq ft fresh air outdoor gym, video at the bottom. The public will pay for Day Passes and our members will get unlimited climbing here included with their membership. You’ll get to enjoy a bite and beer afterward. A better future means more groundbreaking ideas.
3. You’re getting a Kilterboard at Lakewood. The Kilterboard Downtown has been popular and now you’ll have access to professional-grade training at Lakewood too. A better future means you getting stronger.
4. You’re getting yoga and more. Members now get free yoga! We’re investing in more holds and volumes. We’re investing in our setting team to meet your needs. Also, Downtown additions, outdoor climbing trips, and competitions are in the works. A better future means amenities.
5. You’re helping and hiring more people. Nosotros is making a difference. The physical benefit is obvious, climbing is better than weight lifting. The social benefit is clear, climbing is better at relational bonding. The intellectual benefit is proven, climbing is better at treating depression. We’ve been able to give more. In 2020, we donated $6500 in dollars and services to underserved youth. Recently, a Nosotros supporter donated his car to one of our longtime volunteers, video at the bottom! A better future means helping and hiring more people to keep our gym the friendliest & most welcoming in Cleveland.

FAQ
If I’m currently a Monthly Member will my dues change? Yes. On April 1, all Monthly Membership dues will become $60/mo. Youth Monthly Memberships will become $50/mo. Ages 22 and under are considered youth. We used to do Student Memberships but it got complicated when verifying school enrollment.
Is this bump due to financial struggle? No. COVID has been challenging. Our rent, overhead, and vendors’ pricing have all increased. The cost of sanitizing a gym to climb safely has increased as well. But Nosotros is healthy. We’re shrewd with spending. Our Board of Directors verifies our good stewardship. We look forward to using new funds for a better future.
Could you explain the price bump one more time? Our expenses have increased while our rates have remained very low. Customers have been able to take advantage of dirt-cheap pricing for three years. And we’re happy about that! We’ve used this time to make your gym better. We are so committed to giving you a great community. These changes allow us to stay safe, sustainable, generous, and thriving.
